Wild Turkey Golf Course
One of the best public golf courses in NJ, Wild Turkey was named among the state’s “Top New Public Courses” by NJGCOA.
CRYSTAL SPRINGS RESORT
Part of the beautiful Crystal Springs Resort, the Wild Turkey Golf Course stands as a testament to the diverse beauty of New Jersey's golfing landscape. Comprising two distinct types of terrain, its topography is a captivating mix of basin and ridge formations, offering golfers an unparalleled variety rarely found on a single course. Crafted by the renowned Roger Rulewich, the course features generous fairways and subtly contoured greens, welcoming high handicappers while strategically placed tee boxes pose a tantalizing challenge for seasoned players. Named among the state's "Top New Public Courses" by NJGCOA, Wild Turkey is a gem in New Jersey's golfing crown. The basin region, spanning holes 3 and 12-17, evokes the vast openness of Ballyowen, showcasing treeless expanses that test golfers' skills. The par-3 14th hole treats players to a panoramic view of the hollow, demanding precision with a long iron shot to a challenging green. Throughout the course, par-4s feature strategically placed aprons, demanding strategic finesse on approach shots. Notably, the picturesque 15th hole exemplifies this design ethos with its green guarded by natural features. Meanwhile, the par-3 7th, Wild Turkey's signature hole, shares a striking resemblance to Crystal Springs' iconic counterpart. It beckons players with a thrilling forced carry over a quarry lake to a fiercely guarded green, echoing the challenges of its sister courses. Playing Wild Turkey is a true test of skill and strategy, offering avid golfers an exhilarating challenge to conquer and savor.
